NASA Ames Aircraft
The Kuiper Airborne Observatory was part of the Science and Applications Aircraft Division, Airborne Science and Applications Program, Medium Altitude Missions Branch. Most of these aircraft are long gone now - transferred to Dryden, which is the NASA section of Edwards Air Force Base.
