Reconnaissance is one activity in the military that is always on the equivalent of a wartime footing. We didn't practice war games with the rest of the base since we were operating at full readiness at all times.

This launch took place in a raging blizzard but our requirements did not permit a letup in our operation. the rest of the base shutdown but it was business as usual for the 5th RS.
