This is a Panoramic Shot... There's a lot more this way --------->
This was shot outside the main gate at Osan Air Base. At the time the main street was being renovated, giving the town the flavor of the old west. Look above Sam's bag shop at the auto insurance office... It was operated by Jim Price, one of the last living members of the famous all-black 'Tuskegee Airman' WW2 fighter squadron. |
The scene at night...
Looking further down the main street you are faced with a mix of bars and small shops selling everything from eel-skin wallets to ceramic pottery. At night the street was throbbing with the sound of American music blasting from every bar. Inside you would find the 'Juicy Girls' who made their living relieving lonely GI's of their money as fast as possible. |
