The Korean DMZ is generally considered to be the most heavily militarized area on earth. The DMZ is several kilometers deep and contains multiple layers of electrified fences, mines, man traps, etc. It extends across the entire Korean peninsula from coast to coast.

In the distance you can see a North Korean village which is completely fake. No one lives there at all. Each night all the lights go on at the same time when someone throws one large switch. The North Korean flag pole and the flag itself are both slightly larger than the South Korean's. Their flag weighs something like 700 pounds. Each side kept making their pole higher and their flag larger until the South finally gave up.
