Small Wood Carving
This is an intricate caved wood triptych which Leticia says means 'a religeous image presented on three panels'. It's on display in the treasury at St. Mark's. It's only a few inched wide and dates back to the 3rd century A.D. as I recall. The detail is amazing. Unfortunately most of it was lost in the .JPG compression necesssary to keep the file size small. |
