Datum 9300 Modes

The Datum 9300-270 Time Code Generator/Reader is designed to record and play back time code on magnetic tape using the IRIG-E format.

It has a number of operating modes that are selected by the front panel switch shown to the left.

LOAD - Load the day of the year, hours, and next upcoming minute using the thumbwheel switches.

RUN - Select Run to start the clock using the presets you loaded.

POWER RESET - Any power interruption will cause the POWER FAIL LED to light. This position will extinguish the LED.

TAPE 1 and 2 - These positions select IRIG-E rear panel inputs - another 9300, a radio link, a tape machine...

GEN - Reads the output of the 9300's generator and displays it.
