Here's a detail shot of the top of my MK.2CA1 Martin Baker ejection seat.  What a beauty!

This bad boy is complete except for the canopy snatch firing unit and the explosives.

It was removed from a scrapped aircraft in 1977 and retired to a squadron of the Air Training Corps where it sat in the corner for the cadets to ogle over.  in 2001 they decided that they needed the room and that the ejection seat had to go.  I happened along at just the right time and rescued it.  I am now the legal owner of this great treasure, complete with maintenance records and official transfer of ownership.

I fully intended to convert it into an office chair but I've never gotten around to it.
