William Sandy is a famous Aboriginal artist. Born in 1944 in a place called Pitjantjatjara, the starting point for the modern Aboriginal art movement.

I came across his art while window shopping in Melborne and quickly fell in love with it. His style is very traditional but he makes use of modern acrylics and canvas, creating unique paintings depicting the mythological times during the Aboriginal creation.
